Home of the Blues

I found this image on google and was unable to find the photographer.

I really like the gray of the barn and the grays and yellows of the sky with the red of the barn and the bright green of the grass, it's a really nice color contradiction. Since the barn is red it stands out really well even though only part of it is red it still stand out, especially since the sky is filled with such cool colors.

The Earth Says Hello!

These pictures were taken June, 2010 in Rocky Mountain Forrest in/near Allenspark, CO.
This is a tree in Allenspark, CO that I thought looked cool. The way the bark is colored makes the tree look gnarly and how it broke, with it pointing up looks almost intentional.

This is a view of The Sleeping Indian (near Longs Peak) which I took hiking to Sand Beach. It's a different view then you would usually see of The Sleeping Indian and probably not the best with the trees in the way.

This is a mountain, I'm sure which peak but I like how the clouds formed around the peak, it looks very majestic and some of the clouds make the peak look like a volcano, the way they fluff out of t he top of the peak.

This is Brian Leisher doing something cool at Jurassic at Lilly Lake in Estes Park, CO. I just really like action pictures. And please take note of the man-pris.

Sky View of Wray, CO

A friend of mine took this from her uncle's plane. This is the only sky view photo of Wray, CO I've seen.

It is not that great of a photo but there are not many planes flying over Wray so this picture is a rarity.

Don't Stand So Close To Me

This was taken by Hans Kruse. I like how the light gleams through the fog and the elk stands out really well against the fog. I also enjoy the hilarity of the photo itself.
